Devon Dougherty is the Director of Development, Planned Giving at Whittier College. He is an experienced fundraising and communications professional with demonstrated history of success with nonprofits in education, youth development, and health care. Devon is a graduate of The Heritage Institute and is a certified Heritage Design Professional™. He is skilled in Planned Giving, Annual Giving, Major Giving, Nonprofit Management, Budgeting, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Public Relations, and Coaching. Devon received a BA from Occidental College and his MBA from the University of California, Irvine. He is an author and instructor in fundraising and communications. Devon is also an Eagle Scout.

 

Tiffany Kirgan is a partner in Johnson Financial Group. Doug was Canada’s first Heritage Design Professional (HDP)™ and he demonstrates this new training through a very unique conversation style focused on you. Doug’s commitment to family is shared by a small group of uniquely qualified Heritage Design Professionals™ from across the US and England, who work with families to realize their goals through specialized activities and education. As the National Director of Family Governance at Key Bank, Carey Spencer is responsible for serving as the Family Wealth thought leader on all family dynamic, philanthropic, and family governance issues including all strategies related to developing and preparing family members to responsibly manage genera)onal wealth. She closely coordinates with the family wealth team to deliver excep)onal family legacy, educa)onal, and philanthropic experiences. Carey joined Key in 1986 and has been providing financial planning services for more than 30 years. Previously Carey served as a Family Wealth Strategist working exclusively with individuals and families of significant wealth across genera)ons. She leveraged her experience and exper)se to manage complex estate, tax, and integrated investment strategies. She also ensured that her clients received access to the full array of our family office capabili)es. Carey worked closely with her clients to understand their goals and priori)es. Her in depth knowledge of investment management and trust strategies ensured that the best solu)ons were carefully planned and implemented. She earned a BBA from Cleveland State University and an MFP from David Myers University. She holds RFP®, CWS® and HDP designations, and is an award recipient of the Achiever’s Club, President’s Club, and Signature Circle. She is a member of the board of trustees for the Cleveland Ins)tute of Art.

 

Sharon Wood launched Generational Family Wealth after enjoying a 14-year career at T-Mobile, culminating as the national Director of Leadership Development. She is also a certified Heritage Design Professional® (HDP™). She uses her skills and training to help families achieve their ideal vision, setting them up for success for generations to come. As a certified Gallup Strengths Coach, she helps individuals, families, businesses, and non-profits leverage their natural talents. Sharon creates customized solutions for families to successfully transition wealth, stories, values, vision, and leadership from one generation to the next.
